Human growth hormone (HGH) is a natural hormone secreted by eosinophils in the anterior hypothalamic pituitary gland in the brain. It is a protein connected by two disulfide bonds and contains 191 amino acid residues. Its secretion accounts for about 50% of the adenohypophyseal hormone. In our life, it is the most important hormone on which growth and survival depend.

The cysteine residues at positions 53 and 165 and between positions 182 and 189 are connected by disulfide bonds; about 75% of the growth hormone secreted by the eosinophils of the anterior pituitary gland is secreted in the form of this molecular structure. 5% to 10% are secreted in the form of a molecular weight of 20kDa.
